Application procedure

The International Office is not responsible for applications of foreign students that want to obtain a degree (Bachelor or Master) awarded by FH Kaiserslautern.

Almost all degree programmes are offered in German. Applications and admissions (with study goal of a Bachelor- or Master-degree) is only handled by the enrolment office "Studierendensekretariat"  in Kaiserslautern, Zweibrücken or Pirmasens.

Applicants for the English-taught programme Mechanical Engineering /Mechatronics (M.Eng.) need a special application form. The "normal" form cannot be used!

Scholarships

Scholarships can be awarded to foreign students with outstanding academic records. However, only registered students, who have been studying at FH Kaiserslautern at least for two semester, can apply.

Important notice for foreign students

Your Residence Permit is always coupled to the study programme in which you were registered at the time of approval. If you change your study programme without consulting the Foreign Citizens Office (“Ausländerbehörde”) BEFOREHAND, you AUTOMATICALLY lose your residence permit and you will have to return to your country and wait some time before you can enter the Federal Republic of Germany again
